Rama Ramachandran is a senior vice president at Talos Partners. He is responsible for the Structured Products group.
Prior to joining Talos, Ramachandran spent nine years in the structured securities group at Bank of America. During his career with the company, he was a trader, risk manager, and structurer for the credit derivatives group, the securities arbitrage conduit program, the pension and insurance derivatives group, and the structured investment group that specialized in unique investments. Additionally, he has structured a variety of principal-protected transactions for hedge funds and insurance companies, including a $3 billion conduit program, several large mortgage transactions for insurance portfolios, and the first principal-protected transactions for Bank of America in Australia and Southeast Asia.
Ramachandran received a bachelor of science degree in mathematics and computer science and a master of arts degree in applied mathematics from the University of California, San Diego. He also received a master of business administration degree from the University of Chicago.
Francois Holl is Managing Partner of Talos Latin America LLC.
Francois has extensive technology product management, product marketing, business development, contract negotiation, partner management, sales, pharmaceuticals, enterprise software, enterprise and consumer mobile application software, handset manufacturing and telecommunications prior to joining Talos,
He has diverse senior management experience with Motorola in mobile services and mobile applications from 2005 to 2010 overseeing the Motoblur applications and services and delivery of the first Android devices to carriers including T-Mobile, ATT, Verizon, Vivo BR, Claro BR and other international carriers. This followed his role in driving product strategy, integration and placement for the Good Messaging client in international markets.
Prior to his extensive wireless experience, Holl worked in sales, marketing and business development as a Senior Manager at Siebel Systems from 2002 to 2005 and in sales and business development with Aventis Pharmaceutical from 1995 to 2000. He worked as an intern at Bain & Co, and 3i.
Holl received his MBA from the Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania and business administration degree at Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Paris. .
Joshua Castillo is a Vice President at Talos Partners and has nearly ten years of experience in the financial services industry in a wide variety of roles including analysis and risk management.
He is a former Investment Analyst of Quantek Asset Management where he was a member of the Investment Execution Team. During his tenure at Quantek, Joshua assisted in the structuring and execution of principal investments including senior debt, mezzanine debt, special situations, and hybrid investment opportunities across a wide range of industries throughout Latin America. Before this, Joshua was an Equity Derivatives Analyst at HSBC Securities (USA) Inc., where he was responsible for providing the Equity Derivatives Desk with risk management reporting, P&L analysis, attribution, and volatility model calibration for all single-name & index traded option portfolios. Before his tenure at HSBC, Joshua was an Associate Analyst in the Market Risk Department at Santander Central Hispano performing market risk related duties such as VaR calculation, monthly backtesting, and daily monitoring and enforcement of portfolio VaR limits on all Latin American Equity, Fixed Income and FX desk activity. Prior to Santander, Joshua worked in the Equities & Product Merchandising team of Goldman, Sachs & Co. where he assisted the team with Investor Conferences & Analyst Meetings among other internal merchandising projects and activities.
Mr. Castillo holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from The School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University.
