Rama Ramachandran is a senior vice president at Talos Partners. He is responsible for the Structured Products group.
Prior to joining Talos, Ramachandran spent nine years in the structured securities group at Bank of America. During his career with the company, he was a trader, risk manager, and structurer for the credit derivatives group, the securities arbitrage conduit program, the pension and insurance derivatives group, and the structured investment group that specialized in unique investments. Additionally, he has structured a variety of principal-protected transactions for hedge funds and insurance companies, including a $3 billion conduit program, several large mortgage transactions for insurance portfolios, and the first principal-protected transactions for Bank of America in Australia and Southeast Asia.
Ramachandran received a bachelor of science degree in mathematics and computer science and a master of arts degree in applied mathematics from the University of California, San Diego. He also received a master of business administration degree from the University of Chicago.
